STUDY/CREATE:  Instructions & Passwords for BOOK CLUB #2  Padlet board work.  Click the appropriate link below or visit padlet.com and use the “good word” for the book you chose to read.  Then answer (thoroughly) any 4 of the questions between today 11/23 & end of day Sunday 12/6.  Be sure you are logged into Padlet so you name shows & you receive credit for your entries.  (Note: your posts won’t show up until Mrs. C approves them.)

WRITE:  Quickwrite #22 – Watch the video below & react/respond/think in yournotebook for 3 minutes.  (Note:  It’s a student-made video about the fatigue of remote learning – not trying to upset anyone – reactions will vary.)

STUDY: Quick review of using quotes in your writing. Quoting & Citing Tips for Rhetorical Analysis

CREATE:  Taking our rap annotations to the next place – rhetorical analysis.  What you are essentially writing is an essay.  And essay, as a genre, takes the specific and makes it universal (hint: so do most of your rap/hip-hop songs).  Use the assignment sheet below and let’s get writing (time to write in breakout rooms).
