LAST Friday Office Hours! Mrs. C will be in the zoom (link on the GClassroom from 9am -12pm and 12:30 – 2pm).  Stop in anytime you aren’t supposed to be in another teacher’s live call to get help or ask questions (or just to work in a breakout space).

Check-in for attendance by answering the question on the GClassroom stream and be sure to get things turned in by deadline.

FOR A GREAT PORTFOLIO ALL YOUR PIECES SHOULD:

✅ be YOUR best writing (revise anything you’d like)
✅ be CLEAN and PROOFREAD 
✅ have correct DOCUMENT NAMES that reflect the assignment
✅ be INSIDE a folder named FALL PORTFOLIO (rename our submissions folder)
✅ And you need an intro letter that looks and reads like a letter. 

DEADLINES:

• NOTEBOOK TOUR due by end of day Friday 12/11
• FALL PORTFOLIO (w/ grade pitch) due by end of day Sunday 12/13

REMINDERS & PAST DUE:  Don’t forget it’s not too late to complete writing that you skipped earlier in the semester.  Check out the page tabs at the top of the website to find MC LIT/ENGLISH 5&7 – WRITING ASSIGNMENTS & MC LIT/ENGLISH 5&7– NOTEBOOK CHECKLIST. 

UPCOMING:  Turn books in next week via Tuesday’s bus routes or by drop off at Exit 1 between 8am & 3pm.  (Please be sure to include your name on a sticky note or bookmark).  Next week – quick meets to complete some survey assignments and to wrap up the semester.
