Read aloud & Indie read.  Quickwrite #19:  Black-out Poetry #2 (w/ group compare).  WRITE CLUB for research design.

Bring a print source for your Hamlet research to class TOMORROW.  Email Mrs. C if you need one printed out.

Deadline:

  • Finalization of Hamlet research design (LastnameHamletdesign.docx) due in Dropbox by end of day 3/1.
  • Hamlet rhetorical analysis COMPLETE draft for WRITE CLUB on Thursday 3/8 (this means in Dropbox the night prior 3/7)

 

Rhetoric & Comp – Monday, February 26th

Indie Read.  Lab day for work on Hamlet research designs.  (There is a research design template in our shared Dropbox folder – you aren’t required to use it, but it could be a good place to start).

Deadline:  Research design for your Hamlet paper due in Dropbox end of Mon. 2/26 (WRITE CLUB tomorrow!)

Rhetoric & Comp – Friday, February 23rd

Book trailers & Indie read.  A quick look at logging into SWIC databases (namely JSTOR since it’s probably your best bet for lit. topics).  A read-through and analysis of a sample rhetorical analysis paper.

Upcoming:  Lab time on Monday for research design work.

Book talk & Indie read. Sonnets ❤ ❤ ❤  Watch:  Crash Course Hamlet Part I & Crash Course Hamlet Part II  Read:  Hamlet as a comic.

Deadline:

  • Submit Connexions paper no later than 11:59pm Thursday 2/15- that’s TODAY!  (Be sure to check the comments on your commentary to avoid making the same tech or citation errors on the connexions paper). Name your document “lastnameCNX”
  • NEW:  Cited commentaries returned (optional revisions until end of 2/25 – must return the teacher-marked version by 2/26 if you revise).
