Book talk & Indie read.  “The Five Paragraph You-Know-What” – class sum-up activity.  Quickwrite #21:  Phil Kaye’s “Camaro” Textbook:  overview of chapter 2 – Pathos.

Assignment:  Reading the essay given, look for “good” writing and namely, find PATHOS and explain how the author appeals to emotions.
