Answer the attendance survey on GClassroom. Then, read the piece “Reading as a Writer” by Don Murray (attached in the class stream) creating a note-page in your writer’s notebook. What’s important here? What’s worth writing down?

Answer the attendance survey on GClassroom. Use today to make sure you have a draft of you indelible moment paper in Dropbox (it should be an MSWord doc in your drafts folder). Then, use the Mrs. C’s 5-Word Focus slide (also on classroom today) to do some quick revision that will improve your word choice.

STUDY: Read Like a Writer – add the slide to your notebook (hardcopy) and practice reading like a writer with the text from Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak (taped into the notebook – work there)

IMPORTANT E-LEARNING INFO: IF school is called for weather, there will be e-learning on those days. MLA FORMAT: Practice setting up this important format for writing papers. Save a template if you’d like so you can copy it and just rename when you write (instead of having to set up every time). See directions above at the tab that says MLA FORMAT SET-UP if you missed class or need a refresher.
