Multi-Cultural Lit – Tuesday, October 22nd

Book talk & Indie read.  Writing Assignment:  Multi-Genre project overview.  Watch: The Hate U Give.

Deadline:  Any 2 pieces of the writing assignment due no later than Sunday, Oct. 27th at 11:59pm.  (2 different pieces about a page long each).

This week:  You MAY watch the movie, work on your writing, and/or read your book while we view the film.  You MAY NOT sleep, play on your phone, or do homework for other classes.

Assignment:  DUE WEDNESDAY – read chapter 1 of the text “Argument”

Complete 3 post-its:

  • Orange:  biggest take-away (what did you learn? what matters here?)
  • Blue:  best quote (verbatim w/ page #)
  • Pink: question that remains (specific or overall)
