Book talk & Indie read.  Quickwrite #26: “Where I’m From” by George Ella Lyons – write your own “Where I’m From”  Study/Create/Share:  group work time for Hamlet RA topics – search for sources & work on your design (AT THIS POINT YOU SHOULD:  have a topic, consider your “angle,” have & read at least 3 quality, usable sources.

REMINDER:  Time available during 4th & 5th hour if you want to meet in room 251 to work in groups or with part of your groups or with chromebooks, etc.

Deadlines:

  • Hamlet RA Research design due 3/5 (confer w/ Mrs. C in class) – THAT’S TOMORROW!

Rhetoric & Comp – Wednesday, February 26th

Indie read.  Study:  Strategy Analysis of sample paper (a rhetorical analysis about the humor in Romeo & Juliet) – divide, notice, & highlight claims, evidence, examples, & explanation.  Check out how a literary paper is put together.

IMPORTANT: Tomorrow we will look at online databases, primarily JSTOR, which you NEED your SWIC ID and estorm password to access.  Figure that out before you get to class.
