Book talk x 2. Indie read. Quickwrite Xtra info (check the page at top of the website). Eval of student samples – a look at the 4’s: what makes them “good”? – a look at a 2: offer a notice of what had potential, a question to drive thinking, and a “what if …” suggestion.
7th hour: (a couple of extras because we won’t have class tomorrow – WBR!)

Assignment: Read the sheet of rhetoric definitions and star your favorites. Write in the margin, WHY you marked them – explain. (We’ll discuss them on Monday).
