LETTERS: Looking back at the letter you started in your notebook on Friday, find a place that needs expanding. Where could you have been more detailed? Where is there a story to tell? Find a spot and add on – it’s okay to write in the margin or draw arrows to below. Add on if you have more to add or just didn’t finish on Friday.

WRITING: In your notebook, start a letter to Mrs. C about yourself as a student, as a reader, writer, person, etc. How’s class going so far? What are you excited about or worried about or unsure about? Be reflective and share what you need Mrs. C to know. Make it look like a letter by starting with a salutation and ending with a closing.
