Book talk & Indie read.  Quickwrite #5:  Story Cubes – pick 2 of 5.  RLaW – recap what we found in How I Became a Pirate.  Read:  “Ambush” by Tim O’Brien from The Things They Carried (tomorrow we will “read it like a writer”).

Book talk & Indie read.  Quickwrite #4: create story “tricycle and/or broken sandal” RLaW:  How I Became a Pirate (find at least 3 items from the “read like a writer” square and highlight & label them).
