Wednesday, April 3rd – All Classes
📚Indie Read
🔬QW#18 & QW #19: Genre Experiments (2 of 3) – to-do list, dialogue, dictionary-style definitions (focus them on your front-running topic – 5 minutes for each) – *The point here is to get some practice trying other genres, get you out of your comfort-zone. Along the way, you might end up with pieces that could make their way into your project (or at least genres you might want to include or modify). We’ll do this several times in the next couple of weeks.

ASSIGNMENT: Multi-Genre Research Details (as a handout – both contracts A & B) – YOU CAN FIND THESE ONLINE AT THE TAB ABOVE FOR YOUR CLASS. Be sure to choose the class you are enrolled in because the parameters are different! Hours 1 & 3 are DC English 8, Hour 6 is Rhet-Comp II, and Hour 8 is English 8 (no DC).
SHARE: Check out multi-genre project examples (lots of them) – time to browse
TURN IN: Idea Exploration was due as a Flip video (see assignment sheet for flip code / use your SCHOOL email) 4/1 (check out student-example papers from previous semesters on the Flip, too). If you haven’t turned yours in, do that ASAP.
