The info on the assessment sheet is NOT a grading scale. This course follows the same grading scale as all others (10 point scale).

Holistic scoring works like this:  If your paper is an A paper, it will be given a 95%.  If your paper is a B paper, it gets 85%, and so forth according to the assessment sheet.  Unless you make revisions later (to earn extra points) OR turn in work late (which will result in a deduction), there are no other percentage scores on papers.

This means EVERYONE’s paper that falls into a grade range, gets that “on-the-fives” grade, not that the grading scale itself is altered in any way.
